Spaceflight RF Communications
Hardware & Systems

RF signal paths for spaceflight.
From antennas to modem-ready RF. Covering L-, S-, C-, X-, Ku-, to Ka-band.
From custom antennas to RF payload electronics and integrated RF systems tailored to your mission requirements.

Selected Spaceflight Hardware

AnTrust has designed and delivered RF hardware for demanding space missions, spanning antennas, filters, and communications hardware across multiple frequency bands. These examples reflect the foundation behind our broader RF payload capability: mission-specific hardware engineered for RF performance, spacecraft integration, and the spaceflight environment.

RF Communications Capabilities

AnTrust develops custom spaceflight RF hardware from antennas and passive microwave networks through active payload electronics and integrated RF systems. We combine custom design with qualified functional blocks to meet mission-specific performance, packaging, and environmental requirements.

Antennas

High gain and low gain antennas, feeds, polarization networks, and custom mission designs.

RF Payload Electronics

Frequency conversion, LNAs and gain stages, LO and synthesis, gain control, and channel conditioning.

Passive RF & Networks

Filters, couplers, multiplexers, waveguide assemblies, and RF distribution networks.

Integrated RF Systems

Complete RF signal paths from the antenna to modem-ready RF, engineered for spacecraft integration.

Wideband RF Systems Engineering

AnTrust engineers complete spaceflight RF signal paths for wideband communications and relay payloads, from the antenna through filtering, amplification, frequency conversion, and channel conditioning to modem-ready RF. We design these elements as a system, balancing RF performance with SWaP, thermal, packaging, and spacecraft integration requirements.

Across that signal path, we focus on the RF behavior that preserves signal integrity and communications performance: amplitude flatness and linear phase, noise figure and phase noise, filtering and channel isolation, spurious and harmonic suppression, gain linearity, compression, intermodulation, RF power handling, and wideband signal fidelity. The result is hardware engineered around measurable end-to-end performance across the complete RF signal path.
